WOMAN MAN BOY GIRL
Works on paper by Gina Tuzzi
I experienced my first heart quakes of love for Prince and David Bowie when I was 7 years old. They’re arrival in my pop music super-fan soul was impactful, like a genderless purple and orange supernova, powerfully loaded with sparkle, story and curious eroticism. They are my patron saints of honest creative integrity and have soundtracked many inspirations throughout my pursuance of a life dedicated to art. I will miss their reflections on our human existence and vow to celebrate their legacy for all my days.
“I’m not a woman
I’m not a man
I am something that you’ll never understand.”
“You’ve got your mother in a whirl,
she’s not sure if you’re a boy or a girl.”
Join us Friday June 3rd from 5-9 pm to enjoy cocktails and art at Stripe MEN.
