Cocktail of the Week: The Spicy Mezcalita

Summer is in full swing and we can't wait to chill out this weekend with one of these delicious South of the border cocktails from the Shake book. The Spicy Mezcalita is a fresh take on the classic margarita with a little more spice and flavor. This easy to whip up cocktail will be sure to impress.
The Spicy Mezcalita
Makes Two Drinks
2 Shots Tequila
1 Shot Mezcal
1.5 Shots Cointreau
1.5 Shots Lime Juice
2 Slices of Fresh Jalapeño (+2 for Garnish): Be sure to taste Jalapeño before, spices can vary.
2 Slices Fresh Lime
-Combine the Tequila, Mezcal, Cointreau, Lime Juice and 2 slices of Jalapeño in the shaker.
-Add ice to above the level of the liquid and shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
-Strain the mixture into chilled rocks glasses containing large ice cubes and garnish with remaining limes and Jalapeño.
